Thinking about a 7mm

The new Remington 700 Long Range in 7mm Rem Mag now has a 1:8 twist for heavier bullets same as the 7mm PRC.

I've looked at that, but the lack of a threaded barrel and Remington's track record has a bad taste in my mouth. Remington doesn't even list the twist rate on their website. I've only seen that rifle listed as a 1:9?

1:8 twist right there in the description. No threaded barrel might be an issue, looked at one at Sports World and it looked very nice, liked the stock, seen these priced below $875 on line. Good luck with your search.

I missed that. Thanks. The only other place I seen had it listed as 9. Cabela's it listed sub 800 too.
