This is not just politics at work. The ammo supply chain has been affected just like every other global supply chain. Specifically, it relates to copper for the brass cases & bullet jackets. The mines in South America are in the middle of some labor problems. Add in that most US lead comes from MO with an extended lockdown & you have a perfect storm.

That Doe Run lead refinery was closed by Obama's EPA. It's been closed for 10 years.

There are no commercial lead mines in the USA that don't export their production. All lead refiners in the US have closed.

ALL lead in the USA is either from recycled products, or is imported from other countries. Mostly from China, then Australia.

Anyone else wonder what percentage of the gun/ammo/component sales went to “antifa/marxist types”? Maybe there needs to be a new question on the 4473’s as to antifa/Marxist memberships/affiliations?

So where's the ammo shortage? OKC gunshow this weekend Guy is selling Federal 9mm multiple pallets.
6 boxes per package $90 plus $5 tax $95 out the door that's $15 a box.
My brother took reloading supplies and a Dillon loader. Not one person stopped to look. Reloading supply shortage?
Only thing that's selling for him is Snap-on tools.
