The difference is that liberals want pot and conservatives want guns and cans. Therefore pot legalized at the state level is tolerated while intrastate manufacture and possession of non nfa cans is not.

It really is just that simple. :(

Haha yeah I saw a bumper sticker the other day that read "I want gay-married couples to be able to protect their marijuana with guns."
Nailed it

Yes it could shatter basically ALL federal gun control laws like it should. But it won't. They'll prove the .gov's superiority in all things by invoking the commerce clause. Case closed, you lose, now go away. And OBTW, leave your guns at the door we're keeping them.

This suit is dangerous and it's why I've not wanted a case like this to get in front of SCOTUS until we get some sane justices appointed and confirmed. Better to just let sleeping dogs lie in some cases.

This Lawsuit Could Shatter ALL Federal Gun Control Laws

"The federal trial of a Kansas man for manufacturing and selling firearms and silencers without a federal license could very well turn out to be the pivotal case that not only challenges the constitutionality of the National Firearms Act of 1934, but also every federal firearms law ever passed in a battle that will determine whether it is the states or the federal government that has the constitutional right to pass gun laws."...

WOW .. that makes total sense that the 2nd amendment was written to control the federal government. having another supreme court justice that interprets the constitution as it was originally meant could mean the repeal of national guns laws. sure hope this case can be delayed until a new supreme court justice can be confirmed.

Seeing the availability of full auto is not so far fetched. There are very many such arms(don't know the actual number) out there that are not banned. It isn't such a big leap to see the fallacy of restricting everyone except the very wealthy access to this type of arm. You'd think even the liberals with their fairness doctrine would be up in arms over the disparity. 'Course the libs would sooner ban all such arms - until they figure out there might just be a need for them to have access to such arms.

Full auto arms don't need to be expensive, either. They can be made much cheaper than semi-auto, or even bolt or lever action. They can be made with as little as four moving parts - six if you count the spring and follower in a magazine.
