I can't imagine it hurting Brownies business for offering them jobs, but I think the offer might be just to make the other place look bad, even though that doesn't really even make sense. Brownies and the place they were fired from aren't exactly direct competitors. Brownies isn't a bar at all and doesn't even pretend to have any ambiance. I Don't Care Bar & Grill is a bar with food or at least a restaurant with drinks as a big focus. There will be some people that will NEVER go there because of this drama, but I can't imagine any regulars giving a damn about who got fired from the kitchen and there will probably be some people go give them business because of it.

Brownies has three spots in Tulsa, if you count the gourmet burger joint. They can probably squeeze those employees in between the three shops, at least part time. Restaurant turnover can be pretty high.
