thompson 22 conversion

Has anybody tried one of these 22 lr conversion kits from Black Dog Machine?
$525 sounds like a good deal to me.
they tell you to call some guy named Merle whos handling selling and fitting them
and they offer them for most models of Tsmg.

It says out of stock thru BDM but I think Merle contracted for them to make it for him.
