Back in the day of early mag wheels, a little gasoline on the bead as inflating them would help the seal. Sounds like you have something more than that going on. Sure you have the right tire/rim combination? Tube would be an easy fix.

It's a basically brand new Toro ZTR, so whatever they use from the factory. Just called the shop where I bought it, they said they'd warranty it if it won't seal or I could pay for a tube install. They said it was dumb, but Toro won't pay for a tube since they don't use them as original equipment. Looks like I'll just get a new tire and wheel at the end of the week when it comes in. Sounded like they've seen this before too.
