[QUOTE="Glock 40, post: 3235162, member: 32"] I live right on Bixby / South Tulsa border and in the 2.5 years we have been here. I can't think of a single time we have heard sirens during a storm. I been around Tulsa metro most of my life and can't even really think of a lot of Tornadoes in this area. Seems like they almost always go out I-44 by the turner turnpike gate then head North East towards Catosa. I did see a couple small ones around Skiatook and remember the bad one that came though in 94 or 95. When we had the Tornadoes go through Tulsa in 2017 that hit around 41st and Sheridan in the middle of the night and went east. I was on call that weekend. I had been all the way up to Kaw lake during the storm. I was making my way back down 169 and was directly in the path of that tornado and didn't know it. I know now because worked called at that exact time and I was on bluetooth with them and storm was about 2 miles west of me. I went to bed told them let me sleep a few hours and when storms cleared I would be back out in the morning. I got up the next morning headed up Sheridan and saw the roads closed. It was a long day.
