Anyone know of a local Toyo Retailer?
I did my 5000 mile oil change today and when I was going to rotate my tires I noticed they are all dry rotted or flaking or something weird happening with them.
They have a 2014 DOT date code and I bought them in 2015 so surely they’re not breaking down already.... only 15k miles on them with lots of life left and I love them, just scared they may pop. It’s all 4 of them which is odd too. Maybe a bad batch or something.
Anyway... I was reading online at Toyo warranty info and it said I needed to find a Toyo Retailer and I have no clue who that would be, I bought them from a 3rd party store who’s no longer in business so idk who to consult. I sent an email directly to Toyo and am awaiting a reply but figure I’ll be proactive in the meantime.

Not the best photos but the wear is only on the treads, the sidewalks look normal.

I’ve been to Express a few times, sold the owner a Russian Red AK a while back. Good people, thanks for mentioning them I forgot all about them!

And surprisingly no. Highway and paved roads. I have a set of Toyo RTs on my Jeep that are holding up great with about 30k on them. I love Toyo products I’ve always had good luck with them so this is just kinda odd..
I guess we’ll see how the warranty and cust service dept treats me. I’ve read both good and bad online.

I haven’t had time to make it to Express yet. I got an email back from Toyo saying it was ozone cracking and they should be able to warranty it for a prorated set if I paid the difference and for install etc. I just need to bring them to Express and hope they’ll be able to help. I brought them to two shops closer to me and they have NO idea how to do warranty claims and it ended up just wasting my time. Express is a little over an hour away but I’ll try to go before next weekend.
