[QUOTE="SlugSlinger, post: 3761856, member: 7248"] I bought a set of used Toyo all terrain tires. The seller said they may have 2,000 miles on them and were about 4 months old. I didn’t see anything that would indicate more miles or age. The seller said he wanted wider tires and he is a local Dr, so I guess dishing out $2,500+ for a set isn’t a big deal. The Toyos are 10 ply 37x12.50R20 and are made in the USA. I had bought a set of used Super Duty wheels a few months ago. I spent a couple hours cleaning those up, mainly the back side of the wheels due to tar and other stuff making them look shabby. I had bought my own tire machines a couple years ago from a city auction. They fit on the tire machine fine, but barely fit under the hood on the balancer. I thought by the weight of the tires, probably 90lbs each, I was going to need to add a ton of weight to get them balanced. However, to my complete surprise, tire 1 took .25 ounces, 2 took .50 ounces, 3 took 2 ounces and tire 4 didn’t need any weight. Unbelievable!
