Traditional rifles that still hold up

Marlin 336BL in 30-30. XS ghost ring sights, scout scope rail, and a HiLux 2-7 power scope. Small, well balanced, lightweight gun that would probably be my “last to sell” rifle. Lever gun for me.

My 336Y is not scouted yet, but will soon enough have an XS rail, sights, and scout scope with QD rings. But for now it's lightweight sporting a champion synthetic stock. And the capacity to carry 19 rounds on and in the rifle. The reason for a lever gun for me is because I'm a lefty while the rest of my family are all right handed, so if I have to hand the rifle off it would still be able to be used with no special accomodations.

That’s such a handy rifle. I’m basically doing the same thing with a 20” Winchester 1894 in 32 special.

I put the Henry as my choice because I want to get one. But my go to old school is Pop's 1895 Savage in 303 savage.
