Trail Cam. Dumb Question

Looking at getting this Moultrie Cell Cam. I don't see anything in the description that states it takes an SD card. Do cell game cams use SD cards? Just don't want to order card if not needed. Thanks

They use an SD card and can be used as a normal camera.

Yes, SD card but why when they post the same pic to your phone?
I think they offer that function in case your cam is out of range of a cell signal.
I don't install them in my cell cams.

Most take an SD card (some take a microSD card) so in the event that your camera goes over the number of pictures you pay for transfer each month you'll still have them on the card.

I don't even know if my Spypoint cell cameras would even take pictures without the card . . . heck, sometimes the older ones barely take them with it.
