I hope you understand that I do not desire to share the exact location of the land. The date stamp and time is 7/8/2023 (I have the year wrong on my camera) but it was obviously 2022 at 6:31 AM.You have a date/time stamp and LOC for that?

Very cool! A niece of a friend of mine shot a good bull in that area around 7-8 years ago IIRC. I believe there are plans to introduce elk to the west side of the interstate sometime soon.South central Oklahoma about ten miles off I-35.
There was one hit on I-40 just west of Yukon probably 20 years ago. Comer was still the game warden at the time. Then about 4 or 5 years ago, I caught one about this size on a trail cam just NW of Piedmont. Only had one picture of him and no one else ever reported seeing him.I agree and I did when I saw the picture. I could not imagine seeing one while hunting.
This is an area with zero elk history of the years I have had cameras and have never seen one before while out on the land. It was a nice surprise for sure.
Really nice big boy. They are sure growing fast and a lot more than what I have seen. Nice!
