This needs to go the SC ...waste of money, all it is is plastic ....Cosmetic at best.
But no matter what...You cannot change from a man to woman and visvers

...Local activist judges need to be voted out !

Should not commit a crime then have the state pay to feed your mental illness that caused you to commit the crime...When does this nonsense stop...Hope the state appeals this nonsense...

Or, give him the sex change, but keep him in a men's prison. Sure to boost morale among the inmates.

Oner can sue another person for virtually anything, the problems is that the inmates create reasons to sue and the taxpayers have to pay.

Sooooo... um.... The judge in question here is a US District Court judge. A federal judge nominated by the president, confirmed by the Senate.

They can't be "voted" in or out.

The more specific problem here is that multiple DOC physicians diagnosed the inmate with a mental health disorder and prescribed the hormone therapy as treatment, then another physician changed the diagnosis and ended the treatment.

While the visible portion of the case is that the diagnosis in question is Gender dysphoria and its treatment being provided at the state's expense (that has been established OK DOC policy for several years, despite the vast majority of you and I reading this likely disagreeing with it), that's not the matter being adjudicated here. The crux of the lawsuit being green-lighted is the conflict of opinions by the different health care providers assigned by the DOC at given times.

tl;dr it's a question of the doctors' professional opinions in regards to the diagnosis and subsequent prescribed treatment, not whether that treatment is to be paid-for or not.
