Man, those are some decent fish! Trout is one of my favorites. Lots of memories fishing with grandpa in CO.

Trout are still biting! Caught 26 and kept these 4. The others were 6 to 10 inches long.

Hi Dennis,

I'm ashamed that I don't know the name of all my flies, so here are a couple of pictures of it. This flie and one identical to it, are the only flies that I used to catch just over 100 trout on the two trips that I made to the Lower Illinois. Flies were thrown on a #5 fly rod with a #5 WFF fly line with a 9 ft. #7 tapered leader...

I also kept "fly dressing" on the flie so it would ride higher on top of the water...
