Trust Names

Those of you that are using a trust, how did you come up with the name? Does it need to have anything special in the name such as "revocable trust"?

I just used my name. It's "The ______ revocable living trust"

I had a friend set mine up and have the longest name in history as a trut name. He is a funny guy. 88 letters total.

You can take this with a grain of salt, I am certainly not a lawyer, but I had done quite a bit of research on this subject awhile back. As I understand it, you can name your trust pretty much whatever you want. If the name of your trust is "XYZ revocable living trust" you have to list that in its entirety on your engraving if you make an sbr or sbs. However, as I understand the laws, the trust name does not make your trust a "revocable living" trust, it is the wording inside the trust that does that, therefore you could simply name it "XYZ Trust" and as long as the wording within the trust indicates that it is a revocable living trust it would still work.
