Sorry but it’s true .....I Broke into Fat Boys one day and all the stuff was in safes.........so I stole a T-shirt

I had a gunshop for 20 years and we put the stuff up every night.
Got broke into twice and all they got was a crappy old broken H&R revolver.

I'd think the practicality of locking everything up at night depends on the size of the inventory.

This sounds like an inside job, Tulsa firearms had a break in one time from the roof. I thought it was an inside job too.

I guess I think stealing guns is much less productive then say jewelry or gold coins etc.

I would have to agree with that somewhat.
We have a gun shop/gunsmith near I35 where the entire show room is a gun safe.
The exterior walls are 16" thick steel reinforced concrete. You walk into the display room through the safe door.
