I had a gunshop for 20 years and we put the stuff up every night.
Got broke into twice and all they got was a crappy old broken H&R revolver.

This sounds like an inside job, Tulsa firearms had a break in one time from the roof. I thought it was an inside job too.

I guess I think stealing guns is much less productive then say jewelry or gold coins etc.

I'd think the practicality of locking everything up at night depends on the size of the inventory. :anyone:
I would have to agree with that somewhat.
We have a gun shop/gunsmith near I35 where the entire show room is a gun safe.
The exterior walls are 16" thick steel reinforced concrete. You walk into the display room through the safe door.
