Because just a large percentage of “gun carriers” are pretty stupid. I have been near two discharges in that show. One was a dealer setting up on Friday directly across from our tables, and the other was a spectator in the aisle hat decided to try to load a 45. Those are the two that were too close to me, but there have been a pretty good number of “mishaps” during gun shows. Mostly in Tulsa, if that means anything. It would seem that shows tend to bring out those that sometimes feel the need to “show what they got” But even with that, shows can be a heck of a good way to spend a Saturday.
