Hey guys,

Looking for a local Tulsa attorney to handle a family trust and gun trust formation. I’d like to find someone that can handle real estate law as well. Google is hit and miss. I’d rather do both at the same place and look into some other legal questions. Let me know if you guys know anyone good.

I know a couple of attorneys, that's kind of a broad range of expertise so I'm not sure any of them can help you with everything.

Kathleen Pence, Pence Law Firm is my niece. She specializes in family law, not sure how much real estate law she does.

John Weaver at Evans and Davis did a trust for us, and for my mother. He specializes in estate planning.

We used Todd Maxwell (Norwood Legal) once for help with a general contractor, ended up in small claims court so we didn't have him do an awful lot but he was helpful. My niece went to school with him and recommended him.

Good luck! ...hope this helps.

I used Johnson & Jones, Andrew Johnson 918-584-6644 6120 S Yale Suite 500 Tulsa, Ok 74136. Very pleased with his professionalism. He seemed quite familiar with setting up trusts. Came up with two or three twists what ifs, that had never occurred to me. What if this trustee becomes incapacitated, dies? Or the next one? One thing I can tell you, start deciding what younger, healthier relative is in their right mind, have their full legal name and contact info ready to go.
