[QUOTE="Okie4570, post: 2976872, member: 15643"] We set up in gale force winds this morning, had no idea which canyon or trees they were roosted in, couldn't hear anything. I always carry a set of tree pruners, and just cut cedar limbs for blinds. We got all set up, sit down and glassed straight a head as it was starting to get light and I can see 5 black dots in the tree top not 100y away lol. 4 hens and a tom flew down to the north of us. When he was roosted, and when he was on the ground I could see him stretch out his neck and gobble, but I only actually heard him twice. He could care less about the calls of course, and about an hour after fly down, his lady friends led him right past us lol.
