So, we forgot about my son's turkey tail and wings that were in the freezer for the past year. Noticed them the other day so we pulled them out and the "meaty" area at the quills has somewhat hardened and is currently not nearly flexible enough todo a fan mount. Is there a way to hydrated the end of the quills and the meaty area so i can make the fan mount or will this ruin the feathers? Maybe soak the ends of the quills in some warm soapy water or other solution? Would like to salvage these if i can. Thanks in advance.
