Turkey/meat shoots

I know it's early, but are there many turkey shoots in OK? I have been to the one in Harrah but am looking for others to participate in. Preferably card type shoots but will try the clay games if that's all there are.

Been a couple of years since we had one around here. One of the Rural Fire Departments used to put on a clay bird turkey shoot, but quit.

There used to be a lot of them growing up. I'm sure liability issues in today's world has something to do with it.

turkey shoots Oct 16 - Dec 3
At 2 pm on Sundays
Located on hwy 39 about 2 miles west
Of hey 102 on the north side of the road
There is a sign at the shoot sight.
Bring your own shells and gun

Whitehorn Cove will be hosting the Annual "Turkey Shoot" to help raise general funds for the Ft. Gibson Navy. The event is $5.00 per shoot (Navy provides shells for 12,16,20 g and 4-10) Bring your own shot gun or use one of ours. We will be selling Chili (Deer and Beef) for $3.00 and raffling a Cross Bow for $2.00 a ticket. Children and women welcome for this family event. Come shoot a cartoon turkey and take home a frozen turkey just in time for Thanksgiving.

wish i could have stopped but didn't have time. there was a youth turkey shoot at the pioneer museum in crescent saturday.
