Why would you want something that tells gravity to take your gun away?

I had a cheap Uncle Mike's (IIRC) upside-down holster for my 1911. Actually, I may still have it somewhere. I rather liked it.

I prefer wheel guns, so I'm certainly old-school. The Bianchi M-19 I had was an excellent holster, and I had a fast sneaky draw that I perfected with it. The Vega looks to be very similar in concept, so I hope it works like the M-19.

Earlier than that. I remember James Bond and old gangster movies from the 60’s with those.

I used 1975 because that was the first time I ever saw one. It was on SFPD Lt. Frank Bullitt, holding his Colt Diamondback.

Yeah, I know...Bullitt came out in 1968. Well, it was 1975 before I saw it on the late, late show at the tender age of 7 years old.

I loved it then and I love it now.
