^^^^This! Thank all you folks for your service! I never joined the military, I was born into it! My dad was in the Army from before I was born until right before my senior year in high school. Yep...I'm an Army Brat...who used to have a drug problem. I was drug from one place to another the whole time I was growing up, never staying in one place more than 3 years at a time, usually 18 months. I lived in Germany twice and travelled all over Europe while we were there. Dad was an air traffic controller and was stationed in Graf both times we were there. We always lived on the economy and when we went into town to the post, we always rode our bike the "back way" - through the tank trails where all the REFORGER troops were staying in the field. Everybody hated Graf except those who were stationed there! I went to Jr High in Vilseck and HS in Nurenberg through my junior year. I feel very blessed to have been the places I have been and seen what I've seen - thanks to the Army! Funny thing - he retired and we moved back to mom's home town of Childress, TX. I graduated with kids that had never been out of the State of Texas - - and Childress is only 30 miles from Hollis, OK! :patriot: :soldiers:
