    Got one more to post up on. Not sure if its vintage or not. Doing some research. it was a spontaneous buy at a gun club meeting when a guy brought it out to show off.

    I had a six inch nickel 25-5 in 45lc. It's on the list of guns I shouldn't have ever sold

    My son had a S&W mod 629 in a wooden presentation box given to him by a friend. His dad bought it new. I should have bought it BEFORE he sold it. It was beautiful!!!

    Boy, you've got that right! 45LC is just an absolute blast to shoot! I think I enjoy it as much as any handgun I own.

    heavily worn pre model 27 3.5 inch barrel, waiting on some parts to come in and then send it out to a gunsmith to get it back in proper working order. I'll leave the finish alone, just wanting to turn it into a shooter.
