[QUOTE="AER244, post: 4135782, member: 48618"] After watching my kids “hold” a pair of my binos thru a bumpy pasture this past weekend I decided I needed some decent but inexpensive kid’s binoculars. And Amazon cheapies don’t hold up. So I was happy to learn vortex just released a youth binocular - Bantam HD 6.5x32. $70 and vortex’s warranty so I got some. They’re bigger and heavier than I’d imagined, but they aren’t big and heavy. They feel sturdy and more well made than some of the other cheaper vortex stuff I’ve handled. Clarity was pretty darn good, but definitely blurred at the edges. Close focus was 13-14ft. I can’t speak to their light gathering. But I looked thru them for 30ish minutes from 10-1000yds and Im pleased so far. Hopefully my kids like them and they hold up. I figured I couldn’t be the only guy on here wanting a kids bino so thought I’d share.
