Man injured at Wagoner County gun range</p><p>1:29 PM, Nov 24, 2011</p><p></p><p>WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. - Authorities are investigating a shooting and robbery of a man at a Wagoner County gun range.</p><p></p><p>Wagoner County Sheriff Bob Colbert said 73-year-old Kenneth Payne of Wagoner was shot multiple times and had at least four guns stolen around 8:30 a.m. while he was at the Fort Gibson Wildlife Management Area Shooting Range east of Wagoner on Toppers Road.</p><p></p><p>Payne was left for dead, but was able to call a family member on his cell phone for help, according to the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation who was asked to help in the investigation by the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office. </p><p></p><p>Payne was retired from the Air Force and lived only a few miles away, OSBI officials said.</p><p></p><p>Anyone who saw anything suspicious near the gun range on Toppers Road between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. Thursday is asked to contact the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office at 918-485-3124 or OSBI tip line at 1-800-522-8017.</p></blockquote><p></p>
