As the title says. The reviews I’ve seen on this pistol in .22 are very good; they do intrigue me, I’m thinking about picking one up. Any comments?

Don't know enough to comment on Walther's .22 stuff but here's a thread you ought to check out. I do remember hearing of a newer Walther that was complete garbage but don't know if the PPQ22 is it or not. If it is it's a stark contrast to the centerfire PPQs because they are fantastic. Probably the best polymer striker fired pistol of them all right out of the box. I was seriously thinking about a 5" PPQ M2 for home defense duty until I realized my G17L would actually be better from a money perspective. I already have it!

Picked up the 5" for the kids to train on, worked well then they all moved up to the G17/1911. Runs as advertised, but in the end it is still a .22...
