The model 66 was always an elusive grail gun for me. I've owned several model 19s over the years, even have an heirloom P&R 19-3 snub in my safe right now. But for some reason I've never owned a 66. :cry3:

Years ago I was at a pawn shop in Pryor and he had a Tulsa PD marked model 66. On the right side was the Tulsa PD badge and on the left side below the cylinder was engraved "TPD666." That one would heve been interesting to own.

Yup. That's it. I had forgotten about the time stamp on the barrel. What number was on the other side?
I didn’t pick it up. I bought a 66-1 the day before and it just caught my eye so I snapped a pic.
Here’s the one i picked up.
