Backed in a corner in fear for your life and shooting to survive is one thing, 2 men on top of you out on the road beating you is another, but 2 men walking toward you even though they are heeding verbal warnings IMO do not justify brandishing or at the furthest extreme, warning shots.
NO warning shots or brandishing. Retreat and be ready for whatever happens next. Period. Unless youre an ex-boxer/martial artist who still regularly practices (like me) and is always looking for a good sparring workout with a couple of idiots then retreat to that camper smooth and quick with your hand on weapon but still concealed to go protect yourself and family in your temporary home. If these dudes then come and are working on prying the door open to the camper then be ready for them because that was your warning from them that they more than likely mean to do you harm, and now if you truly feel like your life is in danger then when they come in that door its finally time to 'warn' them by emptying your magazine(s) into them. Since this is a supposedly 'ficticious' thread anyways then my own little scenario may be pure fiction too but it is what Im pretty sure I would do if I was not going to stay and fight mano to mano or I wasnt physically able to put up a good fist fight, etcetc, whatever, doesnt really matter, just do as 'you' see fit for your self. Warning shots and brandishing are bad news legally IMO. Backed in a corner in fear for your life and shooting to survive is one thing, 2 men on top of you out on the road beating you is another, but 2 men walking toward you even though they are heeding verbal warnings IMO do not justify brandishing or at the furthest extreme, warning shots. Im not a cop or a soldier just a regular dude so what I would do may be totally wrong but it will be me in court defending myself, not me and OSA.
