Cool how close can you get? I've seen some video on YouTube and they seem pretty far away, have too many guys behind one silhouette and approach pretty fast.

Saw a flock last weekend migrating north.... we don’t get many in nw ok.
If anyone in the group finds a good feed, we have a full white bird spread. Avian x full bodies, several hundred socks, snow bots, flyers etc. Would be happy to partner on a hunt.

I’d say about 50 yards. Cow decoys don’t work near as well as they used to. Too many people using them. Sometimes if the topography is right we don’t even get it out.
Wife and I got out last week. Filled half the truck bed and decided it was time to stop. Plus got some bling.
That is pretty cool!
Salt Plains Weekly Waterfowl Survey: 14,112 Ducks (Including 4 Cinnamon Teal), 305 Geese, and 415 Sandhill Cranes. Spring migration appears to be in full swing, with numbers changing daily.
I bet those cinnamons have got beautiful plumage right now. Bucket list duck for sure.
As do the bwt, too bad we only get to shoot them when they're still ugly.
