are they always this hard to find late in the season? After going to 6 different post offices, I'll be rolling the dice and hunting without one.

Good call, might as well use lead too.
Actually most post offices don't carry them anymore in my area or at least start with short supply. Your neighborhood sporting good department is the place to go.

Boy I wouldn't even think about hunting without the federal stamp. Walmart,Academy, dicks all have them and online at the wildlifedepartment.com
Ive seen the Feds patrolling lake thunderbird before. That would be a bad encounter without the Fed stamp.

Absolutely not! To really knock down some ducks, high brass #4 or 6 shot is the way to go!

That was a joke......but I haven't duck hunted in 20 years. And I haven't had to buy a license or stamp in about that same length of time...pretty annoying spending 2+ hours driving around trying to get a stamp.
