Get a tough old "yard tractor" like a 60s/70s IH Cub Cadet when they were built like tanks and it'll pull that no problem.
You can get 'em on craigslist cheap because they arent new and shiney.

There is a guy who fixes up and sells old tractors on the South side of Waterloo just East of Coltrane, north of Edmond. I don't have any more info than that, but I do pass by there once in a great while and he does have a turnover of them.

Cheapest solution is tire chains on the mower you have. Add weight to the front to keep it down. For the chains you can make a set up pretty cheap 15 or 20 feet of light gauge chain and just zip tie the cross bars sections in place and that'll get you by.
