When I log in, I open up The Feed first then select one of the posted messages so I can use <em>that </em>new window (that pops up) to browse the site all the while keeping The Feed open and in the background in it's own separate window. It's a good way for those of us who are to basically here to just talk about firearms related stuff and banter back and forth about some "real serious bidness". Where else can one debate the 'Question of the Ages' (Glocks are Better than the 1911), or get just downright flat into it over 9mm vs .45ACP.</p><p></p><p>As far as the classifieds go, I just read (from What's New) and The Feed and move on. If I want to buy, sell, or trade, I choose to deal with established members only. That basically means that if I recognize the persons user name and how well they participate, then I have a level of trust that allays any fears or worries one might get from a "New to the Site" kinda guy. There's a lot, a majority even, of members I have never met in person here. But when I see something pop up (from The Feed maybe) and I want to buy/sell/trade and this is in my interest, I check 'em out. How? I look at their site profile; feedback, areas posted in, etc. Then I can make an informed decision about doing business with them.</p><p></p><p>In closing, I encourage each of you to to become a Site Supporter. OSA is a place for us to learn, to discuss, and sometimes just a comfortable place to just hang out.</p></blockquote><p></p>
