For a week or two after 9-11-01 I truly knew what it must have been like right after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. I saw rows and rows of flags set up in miniature cemeteries honoring those we lost that horrible day.
We were not democrats and republicans. We were not conservatives and liberals. We were all Americans. I saw young men standing in line outside recruitment offices. I saw all of our aircraft grounded. I saw a city loose hundreds of it's first responders and a country loose thousands of people.
This is not intended to be a political post. This is just a remembrance.
