I’ve only ever carried iwb, and with a light it’s not really any different. I’ve taken classes with the light on my edc and did not feel like it slowed me down or made it any less comfortable. My tlr2s has a pressure switch on it, which I really liked, you can manipulate the weapon light one handed. I love fenix flashlights. I currently carry a LD12. I had a PD22 but I lost it somewhere. Only con I can think of is more batteries to worry about. My tlr2s has great battery life, my xc1 just got sent back to surefire it was burning through a AAA battery every 3-4 days and that’s without any use. Only reason I stopped carrying a light on my edc was due to aiwb holster options. It does add a little weight to your edc but not enough to cry about. If you don’t like having the light on your edc it can always go to nightstand duty. Having that light attached when something goes bang at 2am is a plus. Currently my edc is my nightstand gun and the fenix is right next to it, I bet when something goes bang I’m gonna knock my fenix to the ground while going for my gun....lol. I better pull the glock 19 tlr2s combo out for nightstand duty.
