Hopefully we'll make it through May without too much excitement. I don't mind the storms, I just can't stand the high winds and hail . . .
Man, I really miss seeing Lacey Swope on the tv... Lawton has local and Wichita Falls channels, and the antenna only gets OKC in the clear cold weather.
I'll be looking for Mad Man Mike Morgans tie tomorrow. It's said he wears one bedazzled one when rough weather is coming.
I've decided to stay close to home and forego the OK2A meeting in Tulsa tomorrow evening.
My brother in-law just got back from my ranch in Hughes county and said its the wettest that he has ever seen and we've seen some pretty wet years down there. I know we need all the moisture we can get in Oklahoma but I'm ready for a break and a few nice sunny days.....
I had wondered, and some googling proved some people smarter than myself agreed, that in the last 10 years we’ve seen a shift towards a more monsoon style weather pattern. If that will continue, I’m not sure. But 7” rains are making life difficult.
I don't mind some rain, but I need a few dry days so I can cut my jungle down.
