You never know if he just received a call for a car like yours, that was used in a armed robbery, escaped prisoner, etc. Being pulled over by the police can be a tense situation, people on either side of the badge never know what is going on in the others mind. All we can do as citizens is be polite, if you are carrying, make that point clear at the beginning, and never argue with a police officer, you can always do that in court if needed.
