Hey everyone! I guess this is me, trying to introduce myself without sounding awkward. Anyway.... I've lived most of my life in Oklahoma. Parents moved here in 79 after they got out of the Air Force. Grew up in Norman until the parental units split, mom, my siblings and I moved to Moore. Graduated there class of 95' (first year MHS beat WestMoore in FB!). Went to college for three years then came back to Moore. Met my better half online, moved to Vegas to help her care for her dad. Got married on 03, moved back to Moore when FIL passed 3 months later. Moved to BA in 05 and been here ever since. Longest I've lived in one area, and the house we own is the longest I've lived in one house. I've just recently gotten back into firearms. My father was on the Norman PD after the AF, so I grew up with firearms in the house. Taught how to shoot at an early age (shot my fathers S&W .357 7" when I was 7, fired it once and handed it back wanting nothing more of it lol). My second college was West Point, so did rifle marksmanship there. That was the last time I had fired a firearm (98'). My wife had never handled a firearm, nor shot one, so she didn't want one in the house. Last year she finally consented to allowing me a pistol, just never had the funds to get one. This year my company gave me a bonus due to the tax change. Took the money and bought a Rugar EC9s along with a Dakota Badlands safe (when I got it it was so empty looking with just the Rugar, ammo, some cash and some important paperwork!). Since then I've inherited a DPMS early model AR15 5.56 and just recently purchased a Walther P22QD for plinking. Well, that about sums it up.
