Well, hopped on the phone this morning with Charter Arms, and let me just say I've got 2/2 in great support experiences. Donna who answered seemed to be as friendly and knowledgeable as they come I found out this particular piece was probably made in about 1983, so it's a bit older than I would have guessed. Unfortunately that means it's older than the lifetime warranty so I will wind up spending on parts. We kicked some options around and I wound up settling on getting a replacement hand for the trigger, a replacement regular hammer and a replacement DAO hammer. I figure the hand might need to get replaced anyways due to age, the hammer assembly (included the pawl and such) might fix the issue, but for the minor cost, if I had a DAO only hammer then I can put it on there and it'll match what it's doing anyways. They confirmed there was no technical issue doing that conversion. So for $80 in parts I should be good to go. Definitely well within my trade margin on the deal I suppose.
