Don't underestimate the hubris of a semi-failed political candidate. If you get 'the machine' behind you, you're set. This is why he has become more and more radical over time, he sees his chances slipping, so he is trying to fill a niche that will win him the support of the big pocket donors who picked Clinton and Obama as the next Presidents and groomed them from day 1 of stepping on the national stage - and won. That is Beto's ONLY chance, but what he doesn't realize is he has already lost that support.
