H and H has it's ups and downs, like most companies. I got my 40 S&W XDM at an OKC gunshow and wanted to break her in. Which by the way is one of the most accurate pistols i've ever shot. 7-25 yd shots all impacted where i wanted em. Range staff were cool, no attitudes slung around which i've seen alot of range staff nightmares. Got me the ammo i wanted and made some good recommendations i hadn't thought about. So all in all, the range staff is pretty decent, prices on some ammo is a bit higher than at other venders. At another visit where i was looking for the Magpul version of the S&W M&P15-22, since .223 ammo takes lot outta of the pocket and i'm trying to keep my fundamentals up while at Ft Sill for a class. I saw it with a $600 price tag, asked the sales rep (can't remember his name, around his late 20s) if he could lower the price to around $550, seemed like he was rather dead set on getting that $600 plus tax. I was a bit surprised he didn't help me out since while I was waiting for a rep, i pretty much helped him get a sale with another customer who was looking at an MOE M&P15 (which i got as well, great rifle) and told the guy all of the specs and the good luck i've had with it. So the dealing, depending on the POV, is as expected from really any gun place, IMO. As I said before, you'd think if you help with a sale, i might get a small courtesy reward in return.:( Didn't affect me much, few days later, my brother back home in Houston got called me that at a local dealer there for $475. I'll say, this .22 rifle is very accurate. H&H is a nice store, good inventory selection, a bit on the pricey side, range is good quality but since i live in Lawton, i really don't make to many trips up there.
