I've had this gun for almost 20 years now. Been considering trading it for something else ,but they are kinda of rare and I can't find much out there about them. I thought I would see if some of the fine patrons on here could help me out with what it might be worth.

My guess is that you have a 3" Dan Wesson Model 715. If so, I believe the current retail is in the $500 ballpark.

That's what I was thinking, but I can't find that model number on it anywhere.

What numbers have you found on it then? And where are they located on the gun?

Just the ctg, and I believe thats all that they put on it for a model there is the serial number it is there on the right side below the cylinder thats it nothing else. My dad had contacted wesson several years ago and they thought it was a 714. Whatever it is it's built like a tank and a great shooting pistol.
