I don't know what motivates them. It has something to do with hypocrisy. Like many Corporation's and Churchs, they exploit parts of it and hide behind other parts. They protest a soldiers funeral because that soldier supported a Govt that ordered a war and invasion of another country without following the Constitution. That's very similar to a Father ordering his son to kill a neighbor. The son should know better than to just blindly follow dad's orders. In fact the sons argument of killing a neighbor because dad said to just doesn't hold up. We are accountable for our own personal actions. They call them self a Church to be afforded the protections that Churchs get and the main protection is from Taxes. They hide behind peaceable assembly and protest the same as others. To gain attention to a cause. In the end we are all hypocrites of some sort. After all, the 2A says The Right to bear arms shall not be infringed. It doesn't say nothing about ball or powder. The Constitution isn't written in stone, it's on paper. So we all exploit it one way or another.
