It can be tough for some kids to understand that they are not child anymore. The teenager is still a kid trying to learn his way to be an adult. That's why he tried to man up and make threats. Some/many of these youths are not shown the way properly because of insufficient, uneducated upbringing by the parent (happens less often by parentS-It truly takes 2, a MOM and a DAD-and not a gender substitute) to raise the child in a balanced atmosphere so as to enter the real world prepared to understand and handle situations. You came across, without intention, as Uncle Sam. You were supposed to just give to that youth (not a child anymore) something indiscriminately as per their expectations or worse, their practices. If they were raised in a religious upbringing, with respectful and working parentS, this correction would not be necessary. (The word correction purposely chosen for future relation and understanding of correctional institute). Hopefully, someday, you won't recognize this person when watching the news. You won't have to bear the bad, somber, feelings in your good heart as the video clip plays and the now grown up 'thuggernaut' is crying out "I was just trying to get home to Momma", as they cuff him up in an alley next to is dead, bloody, used to be friend. Thanks for your efforts. You did your part by initiating, attending, and performing the first half or more. It's up to those remaining to respectfully meet you halfway if they are to show for a hand out.
