Man, I tried it neat. It's like drinking syrup straight. It came so highly recommended but as they say there is no accounting for taste. I've been working on it for a while -- just finally decided I needed to polish it off so I can get something I actually enjoy the taste of.

I will say this -- LeCroix sparkling water is a nice mixer for it. Cuts the sticky sweet cloying taste nicely. With 7-11 ice, of course.

By God, one way or another I'm gonna get some sleep tonight.

Lol something to take the edge off there's lots of different mixed drinks that use wiskey but I can think of any at the moment I'm a straight up kind of guy

Agreed, Maker's is good as a mixer, but I don't drink it neat. The Elijah Craig is fine neat, though. Or with just a splash of tap water.
