She's an 1892 8mm French Lebel.
This one is date stamped 1903,,,
That makes her 117 years old now.
I bought this revolver with a sock full of ammo,,,
At a farm auction back in the early 60's,,,
As I remember I paid $10.00 for it.
When that ammo was shot up I couldn't find any more,,,
But I had always loved the look of the old gal so I kept her around.
Recently I found that Fiocchi makes new ammo for it,,,
Apparently It's still a popular cartridge in Europe.
I purchased 550 rounds a few years ago,,,
I do shoot a few cylinders a year through her.
Still tight and a very precise shooter.
