Its just the thought of people I dont know shooting from a helicopter onto land which has livestock on it or pets. How am I to know or trust them to do so? I'm not even allowed to transport a loaded long gun in my own vehicle on my own land even though I can carry a loaded handgun, much less shoot from a parked vehicle on my land.
It wont make any difference in the population long term anyway.

Wolves were all over this country. Bounty and almost killed them all. Beavers, not easy to trap, almost trapped out because of the pelts.
Hogs could be eliminated and controlled if a bounty for the ears and fines for protecting/feeding them.

Wolves only have one litter a year. Typically2-6. Pigs can have up to three litters a year ranging up to ten per litter. That's the major reason why the population is exploding.
The government had bounty's on coyotes for many years, hunted from aircraft, poisoned, ran with grey hounds, etc, and it didn't phase them in the long term.
Pigs are feeders of opportunity that feed on the move. They may hit a feeder, but if you shoot one, the others in the group just move to the neighbors that won't try to control them unlike deer that can get spooked off and a day later come right back.
Large traps that get the whole sounder of pigs seems to be the popular option right now with animal control specialists.
