Wolves only have one litter a year. Typically2-6. Pigs can have up to three litters a year ranging up to ten per litter. That's the major reason why the population is exploding.
The government had bounty's on coyotes for many years, hunted from aircraft, poisoned, ran with grey hounds, etc, and it didn't phase them in the long term.
Pigs are feeders of opportunity that feed on the move. They may hit a feeder, but if you shoot one, the others in the group just move to the neighbors that won't try to control them unlike deer that can get spooked off and a day later come right back.
Large traps that get the whole sounder of pigs seems to be the popular option right now with animal control specialists.

This is all true but the number per litter is up to 12. But the real big kicker is they reach sexual maturity at the age of 6 months. 6 month old pigs get bred.

I have pig **** in my yard right now. My trap is 300 yards from my back yard. I regularly shoot them from the yard. But they arent near as dangerous as people think they are.

Dont they already have them around Kaw Lake?

They will stay in a pretty isolated spot for a long time and then all of a sudden they will explode. Yall are right close to some "no go" counties if I remember right so if thats the case it will just make it worse faster.

They do, but I live in Osage county in the sticks. They haven't made it to this area yet although they are not many miles away from what I hear. Rocky bluffs where the house is does not make good habitat for them I guess.
Farms are in Grant and western Kay county. None there either, although again, I hear they are not far. We had one sounder of piglets that escaped from a pen at the grant county farms, but the neighbors hired hand and blue heeler took every one of them out.
