What is attacking my deer?

Those sure look like a large predator of some sort is attacking them, or maybe a pack of smaller animals. Are there bears in the area? Packs of wild dogs?

That is pretty crazy. Do you still have the same numbers of deer on cams?
Yep. I’ve got 9 resident doe that frequent this feeder almost daily. All are still there, one of them being the other doe with lacerations on her right side.

There is a bachelor group of 5 bucks that are there every few days, and another couple of mature bucks that swing by.

I have not seen any of my numbers deteriorating.

There was a juvenile bear that passed through about 1 1/2 years ago, but nothing since.

There is a pack of feral dogs that pass through every few months.

I have seen a wild dog pack try to take down a cow before, but I would expect more bites on the legs instead of long tears.
