I've advocated it for years once they came out with ammo designed for .410 pistols.
AR .410 pistol is what I heard.
There is zero data in the actual study in regards to .410 shotshells fired from a short barreled pistol. This video takes long(er) barreled shotgun data, 90% of which is derived from 12 gauge platforms, magically derives .410 handgun capability from it, and then doubles down with basic math failure. That is so fundamentally flawed that it is useless in terms of discussing the lethality of .410 shotshells fired from a handgun, unless of course you are just looking for sources of confirmation bias.
The .380 data is interesting though...I ditched my .380 for a .38 a few years ago. Maybe I was wrong! LOL.

I still contend that 5, 32 caliber balls at close range traveling faster than a .380 are going to wreak much havoc on the human torso at hallway distances.
If it requires 5 shots, my math counts that as 25 rounds at over 1100 FPS.
